Semester End Reflection. :)

   This year in Get Fit has yet again been a great experience!  I have improved a little more because I've noticed that the way I work out is more mature and I have more dedication. I have noticed that my major improvement in P.E. was last year for Get Fit 10 so this year my goal was to remain consistant with my improvment and growth in fitness and also to push myself a little more to add onto my Get Fit experience and growth.  I participated in class by getting involved in the games we played and helping out with any equipment. I also participated by suggesting things we can do for instance, one day I suggested doing the Nike App! The field trips we went on this year were a blast. My favourite field trip would have to be Hot Yoga because it was a completely new activity for me and I ended up loving it. I am actually planning on going to Hot Yoga with my mom now! Also, fencing was a great new experience as well because I had always wanted to try it and being in Get Fit gave me the chance too, which was awesome. My preferance in activities have very much changed compared to other years. I feel like my preferances have matured a lot because I enjoy more work outs than games. For example, I absolutely love the Nike App and I wish we could of done it more. I also prefer the weight room and yoga a lot more. One of my major achievments this year had to be when we did insanity on a fitness day because I pushed myself a lot and the result after was great because I felt more relaxed, less stress and overall very good . Being in Get Fit really does change my attitude because when I work out I feel more confident and happy knowing that I am doing something very beneficial towards my health. Having an all girls class changes A LOT for me because obviously since girls can relate to eachother way more you're surrounded by a more comfortable environment to do anything you want. When you're in a boys/girls gym class at times it tends to get too crowded or the work outs may be too intense for me meaning that theres more pressure since some guys are way too competitive. I also like how we focus more on doing work outs that benefit our bodies and health. My confidence level does increase when doing fitness because I feel like I'm actually doing something that helps me feel better about myself which shows as confident when I'm in other classes or outside of the school. These changes relate to a lot of scenerios outside of this classroom because in order to do things well in life you need confidence, a good attitude,and a good health. In the future after Get Fit, I am planning on still working out with a couple of my friends and creating goals to help me stay motivated. For example, I will be going to Costa Rica this year and I really want to be in good shape before going. I will miss being surrounded by all my friends when working out and having a fitness mentor such as Ms.Phillips to motivate me into doing the activities we do. It really helps a lot and doing it alone will definitely be more challenging but still achievable. I will take the positivity of fitness from this class and just all of the different work outs we learned. In this class I found my friends very motivating because whenever one of us were having a bad day we would cheer eachother up and motivate eachother into participating! I can transition to being motivated when I work out alone by setting goals for myself because when I want something done I try my all! 

   Since I tried my best to reach all the requirements a student should reach for in Get Fit I think I would deserve a 92%. :)
